Naga Chaitanya mentioned dedicated the song Bujji Thalli to his wife Sobhita Dhulipala during the Thandel pre-release event.
On Sunday, a closed-door pre-release ceremony for Chandoo Mondeti's Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi film Thandel took place in Hyderabad. There, Chaitanya disclosed that his wife, actress Sobhita Dhulipala, was offended that a song in the movie utilized her nickname, "bujji thalli."Regarding Bujji Thalli, Naga Chaitanya
Chaitanya said, "I would dedicate the Bujji Thalli song to Sobhita because I call her bujji thalli at home," in response to Suma, the anchor, asking whether he had a song or line from the movie that he would like to dedicate to his wife. Before we started filming, I informed Chandoo of this. When I put the song in the movie, she felt awful since she thought it was only for her.
Chandoo acknowledged that Sobhita was upset as well, saying, "I was genuinely taken aback." She told me that her nickname was bujji thalli while I was at one of their wedding ceremonies. I didn't mind when you used it in the movie, but now you've also written a song, she remarked. In the movie, Pallavi's character Satya is referred to by Chaitanya's character Raju as "bujji thalli," which roughly translates to "loved one." Additionally, Devi Sri Prasad wrote the song for the movie, which Javed Ali sings.
Allu Arjun failed to show up for the pre-release event for Thandel, even though his father, Allu Aravind, and Bunny Vas, the producers, assured fans he would be there on Sunday night. Until Aravind revealed at the very end that Arjun wasn't there due to "severe gastritis," nobody brought up the actor during the ceremony, which started three hours late. Fans who were watching the Pushpa actor's live channel were irritated by this. Sandeep Reddy Vanga was also present during the function.
A real-life incident where fishermen from Srikakulam unintentionally entered Pakistani waters while fishing served as the inspiration for Thandel. The movie will open in theaters on February 7.
