The Brutalist, starring Adrien Brody and nominated for ten Oscars, will be released in India on this date.

Additionally, The Brutalist took home the Golden Globes for Best Picture (Drama), Best Actor (Adrien Brody), and Best Director (Brady Corbet).

One of the year's most praised films is The Brutalist, directed by Brady Corbet. Last month, the movie received ten Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor. Universal Pictures India has already stated that The Brutalist will be available in Indian theaters on February 28.

Concerning the Brutalist
It tells the epic story of a talented architect's journey to America after the war, with Adrien Brody in the lead role. Alessandro Nivola, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Raffey Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Isaach De Bankolé, and Felicity Jones are also featured.

The narrative centers on László Toth (Adrien Brody), a visionary architect who, after being split apart by shifting borders and wartime governments, departs post-war Europe and comes to America to rebuild his life, his career, and his marriage to his wife Erzsébet (Felicity Jones). After relocating to Pennsylvania, Harrison Lee Van Buren, a powerful and affluent manufacturer, notices László's skill and gives him the chance to change the architectural environment. But legacy and authority have a cruel price.

Last September, The Brutalist made its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, where it was warmly welcomed. Brady Corbet later won the Best Director Silver Lion.

Statement from the director
"It's a time period that has always fascinated me, primarily in the way that post-war psychology had this extraordinary imprint and influence on post-war architecture," Brady stated in reference to the movie. All three of my films focus heavily on the cyclical nature of history, which is something they all share. The characters in The Brutalist are written to fit their historical setting. The movie discusses a lot of topics, including how the American Dream fails László and Erzsébet Tóth and the experience of immigrants in America.
