"It feels great to be here, and it's great to be standing in front of you. This movie has me giddy with anticipation. I've been discussing this with Siddharth for a while. I couldn't have asked for a better co-star for my dream heist movie (touches Jaideep's shoulder). In essence, it's a beautiful film, and I'm thrilled about it," Saif Ali Khan remarked.

The heist drama 'Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins', directed by Robbie Grewal and Kookie Gulati, co-stars Jaideep Ahlawat.

stabbed by Saif Ali Khan
Saif was brutally wounded by an intruder during a robbery attempt at his 12-story home in Satguru Sharan, Mumbai's Bandra neighborhood, early on January 16 of last year. Four days after his surgery, he was released from the hospital.

Later, it was discovered that the invader was Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad, who had broken into his house with the intention of stealing.

Following a heated altercation with the accused, Saif was stabbed in several places, including his thoracic spine. After the attack, he was taken to Lilavati Hospital for emergency care.

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif's wife, made a statement the day of the event, highlighting how overwhelming the ongoing media attention is.

"Our family has had a really difficult day, and we are still attempting to comprehend what has happened. I politely and sincerely ask that the media and paparazzi stop their unrelenting coverage and conjecture as we work through this challenging period," Kareena said.

"We value the support and concern, but the ongoing attention and scrutiny are not only too much to handle, but they also seriously jeopardize our safety. I respectfully ask that you honor our limits and allow us the time and space we require to recover and deal as a family. I want to express my gratitude.
