Review of Badass Ravikumar: Badass Ravikumar combines musical interludes with absurdity to highlight Himesh Reshammiya's distinct style.
Every day, the average human thinks roughly 60,000 thoughts. Many of these are what we refer to as "intrusive thoughts," which are unwanted and involuntary. Himesh Reshammiya's intrusive idea is Badass Ravikumar, and he allowed it to prevail.Undoubtedly, he is a combination of Jawan, Pathaan, and Tara Singh from Gadar, all combined into one vicious killing machine. There is always an echo when he speaks. Additionally, he is not like us mortals in that he always rhymes everything he says.
In addition to attacking the antagonist, this movie also attacks our senses, with common sense suffering the most. However, Himesh states in bold letters that logic is optional right from the start. Therefore, it is impossible to hold him accountable for the horror he committed here. As a movie critic, one feels powerless since he has a retort prepared.
The storyline, or the absence of it
This isn't a story. Himesh does what he wants to do. After tearing them to pieces with a chainsaw, he will be shot and then leap from a valley. only to return for a 15-minute scene in the second half where he and Sunny Leone dance to roughly five different songs consecutively. The mood begins with "Tandoori Days," then shifts to a Shreya Ghoshal song about heartbreak, and finally ends with another upbeat song. Himesh doesn't give you a moment to comprehend what's happening. He maintains a pack of cigarettes but never smokes them, and there's an emotional backdrop to that as well.
Then there is the diamond theft scene, which had the entire theater in stitches. Does Ravi Kumar have any limitations?
Himesh is in charge of the plot, the music, the lyrics, and, of course, the film's production, which has him in every single shot. His genius cannot be avoided. He says at random, "I am the son of the soil."
Does it work?
To Badass Ravikumar's credit, everyone stayed for this brainrot instead of leaving in the middle.
Only when Kirti Kulhari appears on screen does the two-hour film come to life. What role does a performer of her caliber play in this movie? Her career decision is somewhat startling because she doesn't feel comfortable playing a role that merely needs her to flash her skin and smoke a cigarette all the time.
The makers of Badass Ravikumar made it apparent in the teaser that the film is, all things considered, a cringefest. You receive what was promised to you. Fans of Himesh Reshammiya should see this movie. If you don't already know it, you are a fan of Himesh Reshammiya.
