Raghu Ram compares his India's Got Latent debut to the AIB Roast and describes it as "cathartic." "There were no limitations."

Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, and other artists have been charged with obscene content creation on India's Got Latent.

A few weeks prior to Samay Raina deleting all of the show's episodes, actor and reality show judge Raghu Ram had appeared as a guest on his show, India's Got Latent. Raghu said that he found the experience of being on the show to be "cathartic" in an interview that was probably recorded prior to the uproar around Ranveer Allahbadia's joke.

An online video has surfaced that features Raghu and his brother Rajiv Lakshman talking about comedian Samay Raina and his show India's Got Latent. They are discussing the show on the GPlus YouTube channel in the footage.

Despite not being a comic, Raghu disclosed that he has appeared on India's Got Latent and the notorious AIB Roast.

"For me, the Latent experience was really cathartic," he said. Let me explain why this is a huge word. I felt as though I had opened up after all these years. The atmosphere was so free of limitations that you could enjoy yourself fearlessly because nobody was taking you seriously. "Jaisa des, vaisa bhes" (while in Rome, do as the Romans do) is a common saying.

Raghu revealed that when he recently went to a school to get his son admitted, the teacher recognized him.

"I asked, 'Why did you watch it?' when she told me, 'I loved you in Latent.'" I suppose a lot of people would have been offended, but it was a positive experience. Everyone was making fun of one another, even at the AIB Roast, but nobody seemed to take it seriously. "You have freedom there if you find a place where no one takes each other seriously," he remarked.

India has latent problems.
Since its debut, Samay Raina's program, India's Got Latent, has been creating a lot of hype. Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, is currently receiving backlash for his jokes on the show.
When he asked a participant if they would prefer "watch their parents have sex for the rest of their life or join them once and put a stop to it," it sparked a social media uproar. Ranveer apologized for his remarks.

After much public outcry, the Maharashtra Cyber Department filed a formal complaint against Allahbadia, Raina, and other performers for allegedly producing pornographic material on the show.

The police officer claims that the Cyber Department has filed a case under the applicable provisions of the IT Act and requested that all 18 of the comedy show's episodes be deleted. The Cyber Department discovered during its investigation that viewers and other show participants, were observed using "vulgar and obscene" language during the show, including guests.

Samay removed every episode of his show from his YouTube channel, which had received millions of views, at the same time. Samay stated on social media that he will assist with investigative agencies, but that the recent events have been a little too much for him to take.
