Fans are let down by Sai Pallavi's compliments of Sandeep Reddy Vanga at the Thandel event: "I was made to resemble Ananya Panday."

After Sai Pallavi lauded Sandeep Reddy Vanga, describing him as "unfiltered and unapologetic," his admirers were disappointed.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently went to the pre-release event for Thandel, the upcoming film starring Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya. Sai Pallavi praised Vanga during the event, describing him as "unfiltered and unapologetic"; some of her supporters have taken exception at this claim.

What was stated by Sai Pallavi
"Every director should have a voice within themselves, and yours is so unfiltered—on screen, in your interviews, and wherever you go," Sai Pallavi said in praise of Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It's great to witness someone who isn't impacted by many things around them, and there isn't a filter at all. We occasionally feel compelled to alter who we are in order to win over others. But as humans, when we are unapologetic, it’s a discovery in itself. You know that things happen for the best.”

She went on to say, "People look forward to your movies when your passion is in the right place—like how you went from making Arjun Reddy to making a film up north and now you're doing even bigger films." That seems like such a big deal to me.

Sai disappointed the fans.
Fans expressed their dissatisfaction with her statement after a video of her address from the event appeared online. "Clown opinion" was the title of one comment. "Didn't expect this from you," someone else wrote. "Sai, I used to love you," wrote one X user. "Please tell me she's being sarcastic," said another.
The comment "Sai Pallavi is losing aura points" was made by one person. “Seriously, not expected from you, Sai,” said someone else. Being unvarnished does not equate to condoning poison in interviews and films, according to a critical comment. This merely demonstrates once more how out of touch the majority of movie stars are.

Ananya Panday, who famously stated that movies like Kabir Singh are not for her, gained new admirers on Koffee with Karan. The fact that Ananya Panday dared to tell Kjo and Vijay that it is improper to exalt men like Kabir Singh and that they are not attractive made me admire her. "I recall that both men were very conceited during this episode," a fan remarked. On the episode, Ananya's co-star Vijay Deverakonda from Liger joined her.

Another person commented, "Yes, call her privileged, etc., but it takes courage to stand up to mysogony, and that she showed."

In the past, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been criticized for the violent and sexist themes in his films, including Animal and Kabir Singh. Nevertheless, both movies were huge box office hits in spite of the criticism. Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, made over ₹900 crore worldwide, while Kabir Singh made ₹377 crore.

Concerning Thandel
In Thandel, a romantic action thriller written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti and starring Allu Aravind, Sai Pallavi will be seen falling in love with Naga Chaitanya. The movie, which is based on a true story about fishermen from Srikakulam who unintentionally entered Pakistani waters, will be released on February 7.
