According to InTouch Weekly, which obtained the documents, the actor blasted Brad for supposedly prioritizing his work over their family's needs. She claimed that she had spent years attempting to bear the load.

After years of a contentious divorce battle, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally reached a settlement last month. The two ex-partners are still embroiled in a legal battle, meanwhile, over the sale of Château Miraval, their French winery. According to InTouch, Angelina submitted a reply to Brad's suit against her on January 17.

Brad had said in the complaint that Angelina had violated their agreement by selling her 50% share in Miraval without his consent. "A new non-disparagement clause now expanded to cover all of [Brad's] personal misconduct, whether related to Miraval or not, which would have included the evidence on [Brad's] abuse of [Angelina] and their children contained in the under-seal filings," according to the report, asserted Angelina in her recent filing after Brad retracted his offer to close unless Angelina agreed to a new condition. In the course of their divorce, Angelina had accused Brad of domestic abuse.

According to Angelina's lawsuit, Brad "has himself never publicly denied his actions" and "put the preservation of his career above all else, including over the needs of his family." "His actions caused the family years of unnecessary painful stress, and the cumulative toll was immense," the actor continued in the lawsuit. Nevertheless, [Angelina] never spoke out about [Brad's] behavior and did her best to bear the weight that was imposed on both her and their kids.
