The dramatic shift in dynamics continued to be a contentious issue among online users.
Netizens were quick to remind Mark Zuckerberg of his political position almost a year ago when he posted the picture of him and his wife at Trump's inauguration with the words "Optimistic and celebrating 🇺🇸."
"Billionaires are loyaltyless. They simply serve the interests of the powerful. Bill Gates recently had a three-hour dinner with Trump after contributing millions to the Kamala campaign. "It's a business decision [sic]," one person wrote in response to the message.
