According to Prabhudas Lilladher's Vice President of Technical Research, Vaishali Parekh, the Nifty 50 was unable to hold above the 23,400 zone. Heavy profit booking caused the sentiment to wane. According to Parekh, the Nifty 50 Spot index will encounter resistance at 23,200 points and find support at 22,800 points. It is probable that the Bank Nifty index will fluctuate between 47,900 and 49,000.

On Wednesday, Parekh suggested three stocks to buy or sell: Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd., AVT Natural Products Ltd., and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.

"The Nifty has formed a big bearish candle on the daily chart after failing to sustain above the 23,400 zone," Parekh said, referring to the prognosis for the Nifty 50 and the Bank Nifty index. Due to significant profit booking, it had sharp intraday declines that ended close to the 23,000 zone, with bias and attitude once more eroding with extreme caution.

As previously stated, the index may experience additional declines if the critical support level of 23,000 is maintained. The next support levels are located close to the 22,800 and 22,500 levels, the stock market expert stated.

Due to volatility, the Bank Nifty also failed to break above the 49,600 zone and ended the day close to the 49,550 mark, with bias once again turning weak. The sentiment has become cautious, as indicated by the large red candle that is visible on the daily chart. Once more, the 47,900 support level is under jeopardy, Parekh stated.

According to Parekh, the Nifty 50 Spot has resistance at 23,200 points and support at 22,800 points for today. The daily range of the Bank Nifty index would be between 47,900 and 49,000.
