The whole list of executive orders issued by President Donald Trump includes birthright citizenship, WHO departure, and more.

Many of his predecessor's policies were undone by the extensive executive orders that President Donald Trump enacted. From energy projects to immigration reforms, Trump's audacious orders signaled a return to 'America First' and set a clear tone for his government.

Shortly after taking the oath of office on Monday, January 20, President Donald Trump released a slew of executive orders and instructions in an attempt to establish his mark on his new US administration. Day 1's instructions include everything from criminal pardons to immigration to energy.

Soon after assuming office, prospective presidents typically sign a plethora of executive orders. Trump signed 220 executive orders during his first term as the 45th president of the United States.

According to CBS News, on his first day in office, Trump issued almost 200 executive actions, memoranda, and proclamations, reversing the directives of the Biden administration and putting his "America first" policies into effect.

A president can exert power through executive orders without seeking consent from Congress. However, some of them face legal issues, and their efficacy is also subject to certain constraints.

The executive orders that Donald Trump has signed are listed below:

1. Pardons: In an apparent attempt to stop Congress from certifying his 2020 election loss, President Trump granted pardons to over 1,500 individuals who stormed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. In the 2020 US presidential election, Joe Biden defeated Trump.

"To be honest," Trump stated, "we hope they come out tonight." President Trump stated that "we're expecting it" and that the sentences of six defendants would be shortened.

2. Immigration: President Trump issued orders identifying criminal cartels as terrorist organizations, defining illegal immigration at the US-Mexico border as a national emergency, and addressing automatic birthright citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants in the United States.

According to media sources, Trump also signed an order that is anticipated to halt the US refugee resettlement program for four months.

3. Reversing Biden-era directives: President Trump reversed up to 78 executive actions from the former Biden administration on his first day in office. According to the 78-year-old President, he will sign an order mandating that all agencies maintain all documents related to "political persecutions" that took place during the Biden administration.

4-Leaving the WHO: President Trump also carried out his pledge during the campaign to remove the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO). According to US media, the US is the largest donor to the WHO, providing over $130 million annually to support its global health readiness and response, as well as initiatives to combat HIV, TB, and childhood vaccination.

During his first administration, Trump began the process of leaving WHO, arguing that the organization had not shown its independence from China and had failed miserably in its response to COVID-19. On his first day in office, however, then-President Biden turned it around.

5. Paris Climate Accord: Additionally, President Trump signed a document withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord. A letter to the UN outlining the withdrawal from the accord was also included in the executive order.

The action jeopardizes the agreement's main objective of preventing a 1.5 degree Celsius increase in global temperatures. The directive to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord stated, "It is the policy of my administration to put the interests of the United States and the American people first."

6. Hiring freezes: In addition, President Trump issued orders imposing new federal restrictions and halting government hiring. Additionally, the 47th President of the United States signed an order mandating that federal employees resume full-time, in-person employment immediately. To make sure that we are only employing capable individuals who are loyal to the American people, Trump said that he would implement a "temporary hiring freeze."

The action would reverse a tendency that began in the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak by forcing many white-collar government workers to give up remote working arrangements.

7. Energy: Among other significant actions, President Trump announced a national energy emergency and pledged to replenish strategic oil reserves and sell American energy globally.

8. Tariffs: In his inaugural speech, Donald Trump made no reference of any particular tariff intentions. President Trump has instructed federal agencies to evaluate China's performance under the "Phase 1" trade agreement he struck with Beijing in 2020 to stop a nearly two-year tariff battle, according to a comprehensive presidential trade memo draft obtained by news agency Reuters.

Additionally, beginning February 1, President Trump levied 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico. He has not disclosed his intentions to impose further tariffs on imports from China.

9. Inflation: In order to boost American workers' prosperity and provide emergency price relief to US citizens, President Donald Trump has also directed all executive departments and agencies to do so. Measures include reducing cost-increasing regulations and climate policies and recommending efforts to lower the cost of housing and expand housing supply.

A 2023 memo from the Biden administration that prohibited oil development on about 16 million acres in the Arctic was revoked by President Trump.

10. The weaponization of law enforcement: President Trump ordered the attorney general to look into the federal government's actions during the past four years, including those at the Federal Trade Commission, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Department of Justice under the previous federal government.

Government officials will "identify and take appropriate action to correct past misconduct by the Federal Government related to the weaponization of law enforcement and the weaponization of the Intelligence Community," the Hindu reported, citing the order.

President Trump also signed the following orders:

11. Changing the name from "Gulf of Mexico" to "Gulf of America."

12-Changing the name of Mount Denali back to "Mount McKinley."

14-Closed the CBP One app, which under Biden's leadership had allowed almost a million migrants to enter the country legally.

15-Gave Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) the authority to suggest budget and program cuts.
