The third piece of the knife used to stab Saif Ali Khan was discovered close to Bandra Lake.

Police had previously discovered a 2.5-inch knife blade implanted in Saif Ali Khan's body when he was receiving treatment in connection with the stabbing case.

A third piece of the knife that was used to stab Saif Ali Khan was found in a lake approximately one kilometer from his Bandra, Mumbai, home in the most recent development in the stabbing case.

The missing knife component, which the attacker used in the attack on January 16, was discovered in a trench close to Bandra Lake, according to an NDTV report. This discovery adds an important piece of information to the ongoing inquiry.

While the actor was receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital, police had already discovered a 2.5-inch blade, one of the knife's components, embedded in his torso.

According to reports, the various departments inside the Mumbai Forensic Science Laboratory in Kalina will review important pieces of evidence that the police investigating the knife assault case of actor Saif Ali Khan recovered on Wednesday.

Shareeful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, a Bangladeshi national, was detained by Mumbai Police on Sunday for stabbing Khan during a break-in attempt at his Bandra residence on January 16.

Numerous items, such as cell phones, the accused's clothing, and CCTV footage found after Fakir (30) aka Vijay Das was arrested, have been transferred to the FSL for analysis.

When Khan was trying to defend his small son Jeh during an attempted robbery at his house last year, Shariful, a 30-year-old Bangladeshi national who entered India illegally under the pseudonym Vijay Das, allegedly attacked him. According to reports, the actor was stabbed while attempting to protect his child from the invader.

On Tuesday, police recreated the events leading up to the incident that took place at Khan's Bandra building. The officer stated that while the incident was being reenacted, the accused was momentarily brought to a nearby building.

After five days and two procedures, Khan was released from a private hospital in Mumbai the day before.

Meeting the guy who drove him to the hospital, Saif Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan hailed autorickshaw driver Bhajan Singh Rana for his prompt assistance after he was hurt in a knife assault at his Mumbai residence early last week and was taken to the hospital.

Saif also handed him some money, the driver said PTI, and promised to help him if he needed it.

Rana refused to reveal the precise amount of money Saif provided him when asked, claiming the star asked him not to do so.

But the driver disclosed that he received ₹11,000 separately from a social worker named Faizan Ansari.
