Sunita Ahuja, Govinda's wife, responds to Varun Dhawan being likened to him: "Usko bhi lagta hoga bura."

Varun Dhawan has observed Govinda's work since he was a young boy, therefore Sunita Ahuja added that "a little resemblance might be there."

Varun Dhawan has been likened to her husband, actor Govinda, according to Sunita Ahuja. Sunita said in an interview with Hindi Rush that she doesn't know why the parallel is being made. Varun must be embarrassed that he is being likened to Govinda and superstar Salman Khan, she continued.

"Bolte hain, compare karte hain, but kyun bolte hain mereko ye samajh me nahi aata hai," Sunita remarked. Salman (Khan) se comparison karte hain, Chi-Chi bhaiya se karte hain, usko bhi toh kharaab lagta hoga na k mujheyI'm not sure why people compare Varun to Govinda, though, so I don't understand karte kyun ho. Additionally, he would feel guilty about being likened to Salman Khan and Chi-Chi bhaiya.

Sunita discusses Varun's early years.

"Jo aadmi bachpan se, dekh dekh ke," she said. There are 17–18 photos of uske dad (David Dhawan) in Govinda. Naturally, toh aa jaaega na thoda toh. Bachpan se chulbula bacha tha vo (Govinda and his father have collaborated on 17–18 films). Of course, there may be some similarities. Varun has always been a cheerful and carefree child.

Alongside Keerthy Suresh, Jackie Shroff, and Wamiqa Gabbi, Varun was most recently spotted in Kalees' Baby John.Alongside Janhvi Kapoor, he will also appear in the upcoming movie Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Varun will also appear with Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in the gripping military drama Border 2. Filming has already started, and the movie is anticipated to be released in 2026.
