Shriram Finance declares a second interim dividend of ₹2.5 per share for FY25; record date announced.

Dividend from Shriram Finance: According to an exchange filing on Friday, January 24, Shriram Finance Ltd., a non-banking financial services (NBFC) company, announced its second interim dividend issue for the fiscal year 2024–2025 at ₹2.50 per equity share of a face value of ₹2 each fully paid up.

According to the BSE filing, the company "declared second interim dividend of 125% i.e. Rs. 2.50/- per equity share of face value Rs. 2 each fully paid up for the Financial Year 2024-25, subject to deduction of tax at source."

This implies that, upon meeting the requirements, each eligible shareholder will get ₹2.50 for each equity share of face value ₹2 retained.

Additionally, the business revealed that, in accordance with the filing data, the second interim dividend distribution to shareholders will take place on or before Saturday, February 22, while the record date for the interim dividend issuance would be Friday, January 31, 2025.

Results for the third quarter of Shriram Finance The company's standalone net profit increased by 96.32 percent to ₹3,569.76 crore during the October to December quarter, as opposed to ₹1,818.33 crore during the same period last year.

In the third quarter of the fiscal year 2024–25, the non-banking lender's net interest income increased 13.81% year over year (YoY) to ₹5,589.58 crore, up from ₹4,910.99 crore during the same time the previous year.

As of December 31, 2024, total assets under management (AUM) had risen 18.78% to over ₹2.54 lakh crore, up from ₹2.14 lakh crore the previous year.

Following Friday's stock market session, Shriram Finance Limited's shares ended the day 0.53 percent lower at ₹527.35, down from ₹530.15 at the previous market close. The third-quarter results and dividend announcement were made by the corporation during the trading day's afternoon session.

According to data gathered from the BSE, shares reached their 52-week high on September 27, 2024, at ₹730.43, and on June 4, 2024, they reached their 52-week high level at ₹438.83. The market value of Shriram Finance's shares is ₹99,157.30 crore as on January 24, 2025.

Over the past five years, the company has produced returns of over 148%, and in the previous year, it has produced returns of about 14%. Nonetheless, the shares are currently down 10.12% year-to-date (YTD) in 2025.
