For the third quarter of FY25, Jana Small Finance reported a 17.91% decline in standalone net profit, coming in at ₹110.6 crore, compared to ₹134.6 crore during the same period the previous year.
Following the release of the company's Q3 results, the share price of Jana Small Finance Bank increased by more than 18%. On the BSE, Jana Small Finance Bank's stock rose 18.57% to a peak of ₹434.50 a share.For the third quarter of FY25, Jana Small Finance reported a 17.91% decline in standalone net profit, coming in at ₹110.6 crore, compared to ₹134.6 crore during the same period the previous year.
From ₹96 crore reported in the quarter ending in September 2024, the net profit demonstrated a 14.60% sequential improvement.
From ₹549 crore in Q3FY24 to ₹593 crore in Q3FY25, the bank's net interest income (NII) grew by 8%. In Q3FY25, the pre-provisioning operating profit decreased to ₹279 crore from ₹295 crore year over year (YoY).
Regarding asset quality, its net non-performing assets (NNPA) climbed to 0.94% from 0.71% in Q3FY24, while its gross non-performing assets (GNPA) jumped to 2.8% as of December 31, 2025, from 2.19% a year earlier.
With 68% of the assets secured, the assets under management (AUM) at the end of the December quarter totaled ₹27,984 crore, representing a 19% YoY rise.
Trends in the Stock Price of Jana Small Finance Bank
Although the stock of Jana Small Finance Bank has dropped 39% in six months, the share price has increased by more than 12% in a single month.
On February 14, 2024, Jana Small Finance Bank shares became public on the BSE at ₹396 a share, which was 4.35% less than the issue price of ₹414 per share. On June 19, 2024, the stock reached its highest price of ₹760.85 per share. On January 21, 2025, it fell 52 weeks to ₹364.00 per share.
Shares of Jana Small Finance Bank were up 14.37% at ₹419.10 per on the BSE at 10:05 AM.
