The 2007 World T20 champion said that the player should feel guilty for his conduct, but he denied repeatedly that he knew who "Mr Fix-it" was.
Former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa attacked star India batsman Virat Kohli for taking a self-serving stance, nearly two weeks after a contentious Indian Express report ahead of the Sydney Test said a senior player was attempting to position himself as an interim captain and allegedly called himself "Mr Fix-it."Uthappa had KL Rahul on his radar for attempting to push his own agenda in the 'Mr. Fix-It' controversy, even though he wasn't sure if it was Virat Kohli or not.
Uthappa concludes his statement:
The 2007 World T20 champion finally spoke out against the Team India dressing room talk leaks, taking aim at the unnamed cricketer and expressing his viewpoint.
"I am the type of person, if something is going on, I directly mention it," Uthappa remarked in an interview with Lallantop. I know each member of the team personally. However, since each player has his own schedule and mentality, I avoid talking to any of them during a tour or tournament. It doesn't feel appropriate to enter their area at that point. I don't message or converse with anyone during a tournament, regardless of how well or poorly they play.I do send them a note to encourage them if they are acting badly. I congratulate them if they have performed well and set any records. Other than that, though, I don't communicate. However, I'm not sure who Mr. Fix-it is in this. However, if he has come out...

Although Uthappa insisted that the athlete should feel guilty for his acts, he consistently denied knowing who "Mr Fix-it" was. People claim that it is conjecture. There is no smoke without fire, in my opinion, on the Indian squad," he stated.
"Maybe Virat Kohli or KL Rahul."
"It is senior players," Uthappa responded when asked to name the player. However, under pressure, he disclosed, "It might be Virat Kohli or KL Rahul."Since Rahul has been with the team for the past eight-nine years, we do not believe he is a senior.
It is hypothetical in that regard. However, there is more to this than meets the eye. However, what matters to me is that the Indian squad is viewed favorably. Particularly when a significant series is in progress. Even if it does happen, keep it inside because this is the most important series. There's no reason to take it outdoors. There are disparities in families at all times," he continued.
