JEE Mains 2025 Session 1: Determine the level of difficulty when the first shift exam concludes; candidates describe physics as "tough."

JEE Mains 2025: Candidates discussed the exam's difficulty level during the first shift of JEE Main 2025 Session 1, with some describing Chemistry and Mathematics as challenging.

JEE Mains 2025 Session 1: Today, January 22, marked the formal start of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. As Shift 1's first session came to an end, a number of applicants discussed their experiences and opinions regarding the exam's difficulty. Engineering (BE/BTech, paper 1) candidates took the exam during the first shift.

There will be two shifts for the JEE Main Session 1 exam. Exams for the first shift run from 9 AM to 12 PM, and those for the second shift run from 3 PM to 6 PM.

Student responses regarding the degree of difficulty of the Shift 1 exam in JEE Main 2025 Session 1
According to Abhinav Raj, a candidate from Patna's Pataliputra, the paper was moderately difficult, but he found Chemistry to be especially challenging.

"I had a good paper. The paper was moderate. According to Raj, as cited by Hindustan Times, "Mathematics and Physics were of a moderate difficulty level, but Chemistry was a bit tough."

The JEE Main 2025 exam's mathematics component was deemed "challenging and lengthy" by one candidate from Mansi, Haryana, while "the Physics and Chemistry sections were easier," according to the HT article.

Shakshi, another Panchkula aspirant, said the mathematics portion was challenging. "Calculus had a good weight, Physics was moderate, and Chemistry was easy," she stated. According to HT, she stated, "Compared to inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry didn't come that much."

Exam rescheduling for JEE Main Session 1 Shift 1 in Bengaluru
Due to a technical fault, the JEE Main Session 1 Shift 1 exam for 114 applicants in Bengaluru has been rescheduled, the NTA also announced. A new date for the same exam was also provided by the NTA.

According to the announcement, "The examination for 114 affected candidates has been rescheduled for January 28/29, 2025, due to an unavoidable technical snag at Examination CentereTalent, (TC code: 40086), No.3, Belmar Estate, Nagasandra Main Rd, Amaravathi Layout, Nagara Bavi, Nalagadderanahalli, Peenya Bengaluru, Karnataka, during the conduct of JEE (Main)-2025 Session-I (Shift-I) Examination on 22 January 2025. Along with other candidates who are due to appear on the aforementioned days, these candidates will also receive new admission cards.
