1. PM Modi gave an explanation in his speech as to why Mann Ki Baat is now taking place on the third Sunday of the month rather than the customary fourth Sunday. "Every time Mann Ki Baat is held on the final Sunday of the month, you must have observed one thing. However, as next Sunday is Republic Day, we will be gathering on the third Sunday of the month, one week ahead of schedule, rather than the fourth. In advance, I wish everyone of my compatriots a happy Republic Day.
2. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of this year's Republic Day in the 118th episode of Mann Ki Baat, stating that it commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Republic of India and the enactment of the Indian Constitution. The Prime Minister added, "I pay tribute to all the outstanding members of the Constituent Assembly who provided us with our priceless Constitution."

7. The Prime Minister also discussed scientists' efforts to cultivate and maintain plants in space. "ISRO scientists have chosen cowpea seeds for this," he continued.
