'Pushpa 2: The Rule', which starred Allu Arjun, was produced by Mythri Movie Makers' Naveen Yerneni, whose properties are also being searched by the I-T Department.
The apartment, office, and other properties of Telugu producer 'Dil' Raju were searched by the Income Tax Department on Tuesday, January 21. Searches were conducted at the homes of Raju, his brother Sirish, and his daughter Hansitha Reddy in Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills.
Since 5:30 am, officials have been inspecting eight places associated with 'Dil' Raju. The producer's home in Jubilee Hills has been searched by four teams.
Additionally, the I-T Department is searching the properties of Naveen Yerneni, the producer of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which starred Allu Arjun and was produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Earlier this month, they searched the Mythri Movie Makers' location.
Raju, who was just named head of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, is the producer of two major Telugu films that were released in January 2025: Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, which starred Venkatesh, and Game Changer, which starred Ram Charan. Along with being the distributor of the film Daaku-Maharaj, starring actor and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA Balakrishna, he also runs Sri Venkateswara Creations, a renowned production firm in the Telugu states.
The I-T Department is reportedly investigating the producer's recent collections and the financial problems associated with his two releases.
