Horror in Hyderabad: Ex-Armyman dismembers and boils wife's body parts

An ex-Armyman named Gurumurthy purportedly stated that following an argument, he killed his wife in a fit of wrath.

In Hyderabad, Telangana, a 35-year-old woman was allegedly brutally murdered by her husband. Horrifying facts have surfaced.

"I killed my wife, chopped her body, boiled the parts in a pressure cooker, and disposed of them in a lake," said retired Army jawan Gurumurthy.

According to reports, the incident happened at the Rangareddy district's Venkateswara Colony, which is inside the boundaries of the Meerpet Police Station.

When her mother Subamma filed a complaint with the police on January 18, Puttavenkata Madhavi was declared missing. After a disagreement with Gurumurthy on January 16, Madhavi left her home, and Meerpet Inspector Nagaraju was cited as saying by news agency ANI.

Police detained the suspect, who is presently employed as a security guard in Kanchanbagh, while they looked into the matter. After a furious confrontation, he allegedly admitted to killing his wife in a fit of rage.

Bones are ground with a pestle and boiled in a cooker.
Following his wife's murder, the suspect sought to remove all traces of his crime. He allegedly sliced her body in the bathroom and then boiled the parts in a pressure cooker in an attempt to do this.

According to a Times of India article that quoted police sources, he separated the bones from the flesh, crushed them with a mortar, and then boiled them once more.

According to reports, he boiled the bones and flesh for three days before putting them in a bag and discarding it in a nearby lake.

Police had not yet located the victim's mortal remains in the water where Gurumurthy said he had dumped the body parts as of late Wednesday. According to the ToI report, an official stated that a dog squad and clue teams were working to carry out a thorough search.

The husband has self-reported the crime, but the probe is still ongoing, according to LB Nagar DCP. "We are not yet finalizing the death. The ANI report cited the senior officer as saying, "We have to find out the truth, the investigation is ongoing."

For the past five years, Madhavi and Gurumurthy, who were married thirteen years ago, have been residing at Venkateswara Colony with their two kids.

According to reports, the suspect's sister was being visited by the couple's children on the day of the murder. According to a police officer, Madhavi's parents were told by Gurumurthy that he had made up the whole missing drama.

The case is being handled as a "missing person case" because no proof of the alleged murder has been discovered, according to Meerpet SHO K Nagaraju, who was quoted by ToI.
