Ben Foldy, a WSJ journalist, will provide a timely glimpse inside the closed US short-seller that caused the Adani sell-off in his book.

A book about Hindenburg Research is being written by journalist Ben Foldy. Hindenburg Research, which Nathan Anderson created in 2017 and is renowned for its influential reports that sparked investigations and short-selling, has announced its dissolution.

Shutdown of Hindenburg Research: Journalist Ben Foldy of the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has announced a book on Nathan Anderson, the founder of the US-based short-seller Hindenberg Research, which shocked the Adani group with disclosures that led to a $100 billion sell-off. The news follows Anderson's January 15 announcement on its website that the US-based short-seller will be shutting down.

On X, Ben Foldy posted, "Big news in the world of short selling and fraud... as good a time as any to publicly announce that I'm currently on leave from @wsj writing a book on @NateHindenburg and @HindenburgRes."

Disbandment of Hindenburg Research
Hindenburg Research's founder, Nathan Anderson, declared the company's dissolution. The US-based firm's reports on big corporations, including Adani Group and Nikola, caused investors to short sell and authorities to conduct investigations.

In a thorough article on the company's website, Nathan Anderson, who founded Hindenburg Research in 2017, explained his choice by pointing to the toll of the work's "rather intense, and at times, all-encompassing" nature.

"I write this from a place of joy," he wrote in his letter. It has been a lifelong goal to build this. At first, I wasn't sure if I would be able to discover a rewarding path. Although it wasn't always clear to me, I now see this as a love tale since I was naïve to the risk and was magnetically pulled to it. I am grateful to my wife for her patience with me. To put it plainly, it has not been easy, and I will always be appreciative of all that you have given up and persevered with me. We can now enjoy it together for as long as this world permits, my love.

He was extremely appreciative of his family and friends.

I apologize to my family and friends for the times I neglected them while I was distracted. I am so looking forward to spending more time with you. And finally, I would want to thank our readers," Anderson stated.
