HCLTech opens a new delivery center in Hyderabad's Hitec City that can accommodate 5,000 people.

According to a statement from the IT services provider, HCLTech's dedication to sustainable business practices is demonstrated by the 320,000 square foot building in the Hi-Tech City, which will house 5,000 people and has Gold Certification from the Indian Green Building Council.

With the opening of a new facility that can accommodate 5,000 people, HCL Technologies announced on Tuesday that it has increased its worldwide delivery footprint in Hyderabad.

Cloud, AI (Artificial Intelligence), and digital transformation solutions will be offered by the new center to clients worldwide in sectors like financial services, life sciences, and high technology.

Hyderabad has been an important part of HCLTech's global network because of its top-notch talent pool and world-class infrastructure. "The new center will contribute to the local technology ecosystem and provide our global clientele with state-of-the-art capabilities," stated C Vijayakumar, HCLTech's CEO and Managing Director.

Since 2007, HCLTech has operated in Hyderabad.

The city is home to prestigious institutions like the Indian School of Business (ISB), International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), and Osmania University, which support a strong talent pipeline. With the new center, its footprint would now span five centers and have a capacity of 8,500 seats.
