In an interview with Money Control, Zahan Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor's cousin, gave an update on the actress's health.

"I can't comment on the incident itself because I don't think anyone knows the full details yet," Zahan Kapoor said, reassuring that Saif is now secure. I do know that he is safe and making a full recovery. And for that, I am very grateful that he is absolutely safe. It is definitely a startling incident. Kareena is the granddaughter of Shashi Kapoor's older brother, Raj Kapoor, and Zahan is the grandson of the late Shashi Kapoor.

Zahan's co-star in the recently released Netflix series Black Warrant, Rahul Bhat, also offered his thoughts on the regrettable event. "Even thinking about it gives me chills," he remarked. The trauma he must have experienced is beyond my comprehension. This is a terrible, unthinkable incident. I pray to God to give him strength and help him recover quickly. Where is Saif Ali Khan now?
Early on Thursday morning, Saif Ali Khan was at his home in Bandra when someone allegedly broke in. The assailant repeatedly stabbed Saif after a violent confrontation. Around 3:30 a.m., the actor was taken to Lilavati Hospital. A foreign object, a shattered piece of the knife, was discovered close to Saif's spine and was safely removed, according to Dr. Niraj Uttamani, who treated him. The actor is currently getting well.
