Delhi-NCR weather update: On Saturday morning, a shallow layer of fog covered the skies, and most monitoring stations in the Delhi-NCR region reported moderate to bad air quality.

According to the Center's Sameer app, the overall air quality index (AQI) in Delhi was 195 at roughly 7 am on Saturday, with the best air quality being recorded at 136 at the Mandir Marg monitoring station. With an AQI rating of 270, the Bawana monitoring station has the poorest air quality in the area.

"Good" is defined as having an AQI between zero and fifty, "satisfactory" as between fifty and one hundred, "moderate" as between 101 and 200, "poor" as between 201 and 300, "very poor" as between 301 and 400, and "severe" as between 401 and 500.

Clear skies are predicted for Delhi on Saturday by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), with northwest (NW) surface winds predominating.

In the morning, the wind speed is probably less than 8 km/h, and by the afternoon, it will progressively increase to 12 to 14 km/h. By the evening, the wind speed will drop to less than 10 km/h, and at night, smog or mist is probably going to form.

It is anticipated that Delhi would have maximum temperatures of 22 degrees Celsius and lowest temperatures of 8 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature recorded in Delhi on Friday was 8.6 degrees Celsius.
