These numbers add up to the Indian box office total, which is estimated to be ₹119.18 crore. The Telugu and Hindi versions of the movie made up a significant portion of its domestic revenue. The film began its second week at the domestic box office on Day 7 with a net receipt of ₹4.5 crore.
Game-Changing Global Box Office Earnings
The Tollywood film's producers asserted that on its first day of release, it brought in 186 crores globally. However, Sacnilk reports that as of Day 7, the global gross is ₹170.25 crore.
Why was the Ram Charan movie excitement not capitalized on by Game Changer?
The filmmakers expressed dissatisfaction with the film's failure to generate revenue as anticipated, citing the publication of a pirated version. Following the filing of a complaint with the Andhra Pradesh government, suspects were taken into custody by police. On January 10, Ram Charan's eagerly awaited film Game Changer debuted in theaters. India Today stated that AP Local TV, a local cable network, was raided as part of the operation.
A pirated HD version of the movie was allegedly being aired by the cable network. Following a search of the AP Local TV operation site by the copyright team, M/S Copyright Safety Systems, in cooperation with Gajuwaka Police and the Crime Clues Team of the Visakhapatnam Commissionerate, broadcasting equipment was confiscated and arrests were made.
After the HD print of the movie was released online, the Game Changer crew filed a cybercrime case, alleging 45 people were involved. The pirated version was disseminated via online channels and platforms like Telegram.
