According to a statement released by the fund house on Wednesday, January 8, "At the end of business hours on January 6, 2025, the total assets held by HDFC Mutual Fund in Axis Bank amounted to 5.02 percent of the company's paid-up share capital."
Prior to the purchase, HDFC Mutual Fund owned 15,38,45,705 shares, or 4.97 percent of Axis Bank. Following the purchase, HDFC Mutual Fund now owns 15,53,35,021 shares, or 5.02% of the company.
