"A huge fire broke out in the camps in Sector 19 of the Maha Kumbh Mela when two cylinders exploded. According to news agency PTI, Bhaskar Mishra, the in-charge of the Akhara police station, stated that firefighters put out the fire.

On January 13, the 45-day Maha Kumbh began. Official data as of Saturday show that over 7.72 crore people have taken the holy dip. Over 46.95 lakh devotees performed the snan (holy plunge) on Sunday, according to officials.
