TasteAtlas published a list of the top 100 restaurants in the globe. The list also includes Karim's, Amrik Sukhdev, and a few other Indian restaurants.
In a recent Instagram post, TasteAtlas shared its ranking of the "100 Most Iconic Restaurants in the World." Two of the seven Indian restaurants on the list made it into the Top 10. In addition to India, the Top 10 also includes eateries from Guadalajara, Málaga, Mexico City, New York City, Vienna, Naples, and Munich.The World's 100 Most Famous Restaurants
Kozhikode, Kolkata, Murthal, New Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai are the locations of the seven Indian eateries featured on TasteAtlas. Kozhikode's Paragon Restaurant, which opened in 1939 and is well-known for its biryani, comes in at number five. Peter Cat, a Kolkata-based company that began in 1975 and is well-known for its Chelow Kebab, comes in at number seven. Other eateries on the list include --
13) Murthal, Amrik Sukhdev: 1956, Aloo Parantha
Amrik Sukhdev, which was founded in 1956 with the intention of providing food to truck workers who were passing through Murthal, is now renowned for servicing a diverse clientele that may savor both North Indian specialties and foreign cuisines. They are notorious for their paranthas, particularly the Aloo Parantha, which is served with a dollop of butter.
59) New Delhi: Karim's, Korma, 1913
In 1913, the famous eatery in New Delhi's Jama Masjid debuted. It gained notoriety by feeding the general public two royal dishes, Daal and Alu Gosht. They have a very well-known Korma.
69) Masala Dosa, Central Tiffin Room, Bangalore, 1952
Located in northwest Bengaluru, Central Tiffin Room is a historic restaurant that was established in the 1920s. Their masala dosas are so well-liked that celebrities even go there.
77) Murgh Makahani, Gulati, New Delhi: 1959
In 1959, the Gulati Restaurant opened on New Delhi's Pandara Road. The restaurant is popular because of its delicious Mughlai food, especially its well-known butter chicken and dal makhani.
One of Mumbai's greatest spots for real South Indian food, particularly dosas, is Hotel Ram Ashraya. It began operations in 1939.

From a database of 23,952 traditional restaurants, TasteAtlas selected the 100. "Known for their durability, dependability, and signature dishes, restaurants are more than just places to eat; they capture the essence of their cities." According to a statement from TasteAtlas, the ranking takes into account their past performance, user reviews, and TasteAtlas ratings for their specialty meals.
