Anthony Albanese said in the social media post that both sides had already provided the Australians with an amazing cricket summer.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese met with the teams of India and Australia ahead of their last Test match in the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 in Sydney. On the first day of 2025, he shared two different photos of the two teams.

Both teams have already provided the Australian people with an amazing cricket season, he wrote in the social media post.

"The Indian and Australian teams have already given us an incredible summer of cricket," he wrote on X.

"The SCG will be a sea of pink in support of the great work of the McGrath Foundation when the fifth test starts on Friday," he said in another post. "Go, Australia!"

Albanese also had some things to say about India's fast-bowling star Jasprit Bumrah, who has already claimed 30 wickets in four series games, according to a story in The Sydney Morning Herald.
