Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's home was broken into in a startling occurrence on January 16 at around 2:30 AM, according to Hindustan Times sources. The star was reportedly stabbed by an assailant who broke into his house.A senior IPS officer confirmed the event, according to the HT report, and said that Saif Ali Khan has been brought to Lilavati Hospital for treatment. However, it is yet unknown if he was stabbed directly or suffered injuries during a battle with the intruder.
Khan was reportedly not in danger, officials told PTI. "The actor and the intruder had a scuffle," Deputy Commissioner of Police Dixit Gedam told news agency ANI. The actor is receiving treatment for his injuries. The investigation is still going on.
"Saif Ali Khan was brought to Lilavati at 3.30 am," Lilavati CEO Dr. Niraj Uttamani told HT in reference to his medical care. He was stabbed six times. Deep, two of them. He is being operated on by a group of physicians.
"His spine is nearer one of the injuries... Only after surgery will we be able to determine the full degree of the harm," the CEO stated, as HT reported.
Saif Ali Khan, meanwhile, last appeared in "Devara Part 1," which debuted in theaters on September 27 of last year. Saif co-stars with Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in the movie, which was released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Tom Shine Chacko, and Narain are also part of the ensemble cast of the movie.
Robbie Grewal's heist thriller "Jewel Thief - The Red Sun Chapter" will be Saif's next film. Jaideep Ahlawat plays a significant part in the movie as well. This production is the first time Robbie Grewal and Saif Ali Khan have worked together. According to reports, the plot would revolve around an intense conflict between the characters played by Jaideep Ahlawat and Saif Ali Khan.
