After 48 hours, 30 Mumbai Police squads were constituted in response to Saif Ali Khan's stabbing. The attacker is where?

News was attacked by Saif Ali Khan: More than 48 hours have passed since an unidentified burglar brutally stabbed Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at his posh Bandra home in Mumbai early on Thursday. The assailant is still at large despite the efforts of almost thirty police units.

Yogesh Kadam, Maharashtra's minister of state for home (Urban), denied any involvement in the attack on Saif Ali Khan from the mafia.

According to the doctors at Lilavati Hospital, where the actor is being treated, Saif Ali Khan is making a full recovery and should be released in two to three days.

The actor was brought in an autorickshaw to Lilavati Hospital for emergency surgery after being stabbed many times, including in his neck, during the attack at around two in the morning.

"We are keeping an eye on his development, and he is performing admirably in line with our expectations. According to his development, we have recommended bed rest for him. If he feels comfortable, we will release him in two to three days," Dr. Nitin Dange, a neurosurgeon at Lilavati Hospital, was reported by news agency PTI as saying.

News was attacked by Saif Ali Khan: What we currently know:
Because he looked like the intruder, the Mumbai Police arrested a carpenter in connection with the attack on 54-year-old Saif Ali Khan at his residence early on Thursday. They took him to the Bandra Police station on Friday morning for interrogation but subsequently let him go.

Police claimed Friday, citing their investigation to date, that the alleged attacker was not affiliated with any criminal gang and likely had no idea whose residence he had entered, according to PTI.

He claimed that more than 30 teams have been assembled to find the assailant who stabbed Saif during a robbery attempt in his apartment on the 12th floor.

CCTV footage showed the face of the intruder. In the video, the assailant was seen running down the stairs from the sixth story of the 'Satguru Sharan' building, where Saif resides, at around 2.30 am while sporting a red scarf and a rucksack.

A 2.5-inch knife fragment that had become stuck in the actor's vertebrae was removed by the surgeons during the procedure. They pointed out that a serious injury might have resulted from the knife going even 2 mm deeper.

On social media, a picture of the jagged object—a knife blade—went viral.

Saif entered the hospital, which is situated in Bandra, "like a lion" despite being covered in blood, according to Dr. Nitin Dange.

In relation to the attack, more than 30 statements have been recorded thus far.

The actor raced to the hospital in the car driven by autorickshaw driver Bhajan Singh Rana, who is stealing the show and being praised as a hero.

Rana stated he had no idea that the person he had transported to Lilavati Hospital in a blood-soaked "kurta" was well-known Padma Shri recipient Khan.
