According to a BSE statement, Adani Ports & SEZ, a subsidiary of the Adani conglomerate, was listed among the top 10 companies in S&P Global's corporate sustainability list 2024.

According to a BSE filing, S&P Global's Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) placed Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ), the port-operating division of the Gautam Adani-led Adani Group, in the top 10 worldwide transportation and transportation infrastructure firms.

"We genuinely think that innovation and sustained success are fueled by ethical business practices. Ashwini Gupta, Whole-Time Director and CEO of APSEZ, stated, "This latest recognition only reflects our commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility."

In a statement, he declared, "We are still dedicated to our Net Zero by 2040 objective."

According to the news agency PTI, Adani Ports received a score of 68 out of 100, which is three points higher than the result from the prior year. According to the survey, the business also took first place in the environment dimension.

The sole Indian business to make the S&P Global CSA 2024 Top 10 list was Adani Ports. Additionally, according to the filing, 60% of 318 businesses in the transportation and transportation infrastructure sector were evaluated in the S&P Global CSA 2024.

Concerning Adani Ports
The Adani Group conglomerate's port and port operations division is called Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited. Mundra, Tuna Tekra, and Berth 13 in Kandla, Dahej, and Hazira in Gujarat, Mormugao in Goa, Dighi in Maharashtra, and Vizhinjam in Kerala are the company's seven ports and terminals on the nation's west coast.

According to company data, the corporation runs eight ports and terminals on the East Coast: Kattupalli and Ennore in Tamil Nadu, Karaikal in Puducherry, Gangavaram and Krishnapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Dhamra and Gopalpur in Odisha, and Haldia in West Bengal.
