The Telangana assembly raised the subject of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 stampede

In the Telangana assembly, Akbaruddin Owaisi spoke about the Pushpa 2 stampede incident, which resulted in the death of one mother and the hospitalization of a child.

The Telangana assembly talked about the rush at the December 4 launch of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre. Akbaruddin Owaisi, an AIMIM MLA, brought very serious accusations against Allu Arjun, saying that the actor ignored information of a woman's death and a child's hospitalization during the incident.

Akbaruddin Owaisi on the stampede at Pushpa 2
Akbaruddin stated during the gathering that he did not want to adopt the name of the "famous film star" since doing so would give him "more importance." He went on to say, "From what I've been told, the star who attended the movie theater was made aware of the problem at the time it occurred. He was even informed by the police that there had been a stampede, that one mother had died, and that two children had fallen. The movie star turned to face them, grinned, and declared, "The movie will now be a hit."

Additionally, Akbaruddin asserted that the actor watched the movie and waved to his followers as he left, knowing about the deaths, rather than learning more about the victims. When he holds public rallies, he makes sure there are no stampedes, so he questioned why the "humanity was lacking." Two little children are in the stampede, one of them is in a coma, and one woman perishes. "That gentleman goes waving like that and doesn't even bother to go and ask and see at that moment," he stated angrily.

The Sandhya Theatre management requested permission from the Chikadpally Police on December 2 but was denied it on December 3 because the police were unable to provide security because of the theater's location, according to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who also addressed the matter. He also criticized the actor for holding a "road show" and waving at spectators from his car's sunroof in addition to entering the theater without authorization. Additionally, he criticized the film industry for supporting Arjun and criticizing the administration.

"The actor was brought out by force by the DCP when he refused to budge even after being informed of the deaths," Revanth added, adding that the theater management had first denied the police permission to meet the actor. "The police also told him that if he doesn't leave the theater, they'll have to arrest him," he continued.

What took place
On December 4, Arjun went to the Sandhya Theatre to see the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule with his wife, Allu Sneha Reddy, and co-star Rashmika Mandanna. Enthusiastic supporters flocked to see him during his visit, creating a situation akin to a stampede. One woman lost her life as a result, and her small kid was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

On December 13, Arjun was taken into custody in connection with the matter, and on December 14, the Telangana High Court granted him temporary bail. He has now expressed regret to the family and has not yet met them, despite his legal team's advice to the contrary.
