On December 4, as fans flocked to see the actor at the Pushpa-2 premiere, a 35-year-old mother died and her 8-year-old son was hurt in a stampede-like situation at Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre.
The damaged youngster's father, Bhaskar, told the media, "The child replied after 20 days. Today, he is answering. The Telangana government and Allu Arjun are on our side.
The incident sparked a lot of public outrage, which led to the relatives of the deceased woman complaining to the police.
Allu Arjun was taken into custody.
Based on a complaint filed by the family of the deceased woman, the city police filed a case against Allu Arjun, his security detail, and the theater management under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Chikkadpally police station after the occurrence.
After Allu Arjun was taken into custody on December 13, the Telangana High Court issued him temporary bail the next day for a period of four weeks, awaiting the conclusion of the bail process.
