The Hindi adaptation of Unni Mukundan's Marco is replacing Varun Dhawan's Baby John: Report

The Varun Dhawan film Baby John has had difficulty surviving while the Unni Mukundan-starring Since its release, Marco has gotten positive reviews.

Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi, debuted in theaters on Christmas, but it has since had trouble staying afloat. According to Bollywood Hungama, the movie now has to compete with Marco, a Malayalam film starring Unni Mukundan. According to the publication, Marco's Hindi version of Baby John is taking the place of Baby John shows in North India.

Will Marco take Baby John's place?

Despite its violent violence, Marco was well-reviewed when it was premiered in theaters on December 20. Because of how well the movie did, Unni posted on X (previously Twitter) that more than 140 Hindi shows were being added for Marco.

"There is a curiosity to see it (Marco), as many are claiming that Sandeep Reddy Vanga's ultra-violent film Animal (2023) looks like a kiddie movie in front of Marco because of its excessive violent scenes," the publication cited a source as saying. There is therefore a demand for it, and Marco's shows as well as movies like Pushpa 2 and Mufasa: The Lion King are taking the place of Baby John's.

Even though Baby John is already in its fourth week of release, it also had to compete with Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun.

Concerning Marco and Baby John

Marco is doing well; he has earned 57 crore globally and 29.9 crore net in India.as stated by Sacnilk. On January 1, the movie will be released in Telugu, expanding its box office haul. The film, which was directed by Haneef Adeni, is regarded as one of the bloodiest in India.

Baby John is a remake of the Tamil movie Theri, which was produced by Atlee and directed by Khalees. The movie was criticized for falling short of expectations. The trading website claims that it has already earned ₹19.65 crore net in India and ₹27.60 crore globally.
