Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra will star in the OTT premiere of The Sabarmati Report. The film examines the February 27, 2002, Sabarmati Express fire disaster in Godhra, which resulted in the deaths of 59 people.The film, which was directed by Dheeraj Sarna, debuted in theaters on November 15.
At the Parliament library's Balyogi Auditorium, Prime Minister Narendra Modi viewed The Sabarmati Report. Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and other Union ministers were with him.
According to reports, PM Modi saw this film for the first time after taking office. Raashii Khanna and veteran actor Jeetendra were also in attendance.

The narrative tracks journalist Samar Kumar as he unearths more details about the incident. Raashii Khanna plays Amrita Gill, while Ridhi Dogra plays Manika Rajpurohit. Actors Digvijay Purohit, Sudip Ved, and Barkha Singh are also part of the ensemble cast.
The May 3, 2024, original release date of the Bollywood film was then rescheduled for August, and it finally arrived in theaters in November after several delays. Ektaa Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Amul V. Mohan, and Anshul Mohan are the film's producers.

The Sabarmati Report will be available exclusively on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium on January 10, 2025, for fans who were unable to attend the theatrical release.
The film was produced on a ₹50 crore budget, according to media reports. According to Sacnilk, the film did not do well at the box office, earning ₹40.73 crore. The film stayed in theaters for over five weeks after making ₹11.5 crore in its first week.
