Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy talks with Tollywood heavyweights amid the Allu Arjun controversy and asserts that "celebrities must control their fans."

In the midst of tense relations between the ruling regime and the entertainment industry after Allu Arjun's incarceration, Revanth Reddy met Tollywood celebrities and directors.

Tollywood actors and filmmakers have reportedly been reassured by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy that his government supports the Telugu cinema industry and has made it clear that law and order would not be compromised.

In the midst of tense relations between the ruling regime and Hollywood after the arrest of Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun, Revanth Reddy met with Tollywood stars and filmmakers on Thursday.

According to news agency ANI, which cited anonymous sources, Revanth Reddy also stated that superstars need to manage their fan base and that the industry needs to take responsibility.

The Telangana State Police Command and Control Center in Hyderabad's Banjara Hills served as the venue for the conference.

Dil Raju, the chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation (FDC), led the delegation of prominent Tollywood figures. Actors Nagarjuna, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, Kalyan Ram, Shiva Balaji, Adavi Sesh, Nithin, and Venkatesh are among the other guests.

Among those in attendance were producers Suresh Babu, KL Narayana, Damodhar, Allu Aravind, BVSN Prasad, and Chinna Babu, as well as filmmakers Koratala Siva, Anil Ravipudi, K Raghavendra Rao, Prashanth Varma, and Sai Rajesh.

A huge crowd came to see Allu Arjun at the Sandhya Theatre on December 4 for the launch of Pushpa 2: The Rule. When he waved to the supporters from the sunroof of his car, commotion broke out. As a result, a 35-year-old mother died tragically, and her 8-year-old child was hurt.

Allu Arjun's remarks last week were criticized by several ruling Congress leaders, who denied the claims made by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on the "roadshow" prior to the movie screening and described the stampede situation as entirely unintentional.

Against Allu Arjun, Revanth Reddy
The "Pushpa" star denied the accusations, claiming it was neither a parade nor a roadshow, hours after Revanth Reddy blasted the actor for hosting a roadshow and waving to the audience at the theater without mentioning anyone.

Allu Arjun was taken into custody by the Hyderabad Police in relation to the woman's December 13 killing.

He was released from prison on the morning of December 14 after the Telangana high court granted him four weeks of interim bail that same day.

Allu Arjun was arrested following the incident and subsequently released on bail after posting a surety of ₹50,000. Actor Allu Arjun was questioned by Hyderabad police on Tuesday over the sad event that occurred during the Pushpa 2 movie premiere.

Political turmoil has also been triggered by the tragedy. In the Assembly, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy accused Allu Arjun of being responsible for the disaster, claiming that police had refused permission for any event to take place at Sandhya Theatre because of safety concerns.

However, the actor denied the claims, referring to them as an attempt at "character assassination."
