Allu Arjun's co-star Rashmika Mandanna had this to say following his arrest for the death of a fan during Friday's Pushpa 2: The Rule premiere.

After Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday for the death of a fan during the December 4 launch of Pushpa 2: The Rule, his co-star publicly defended him. In a message, the actor, who was also at the Sandhya Theatre for the premiere, described his arrest as "disheartening."

Rashmika expressed her shock at everything that has happened since Friday am in a statement she posted on her Instagram stories regarding Arjun's detention. "I can't believe what I am seeing right now," she wrote. The situation that occurred was regrettable and really depressing. It is depressing, though, to see everything attributed to one person. This is a tragic and unbelievable circumstance.

On X (previously Twitter), actor Nani expressed support for Arjun by tweeting, "That was an unfortunate incident and it was heart breaking," and asserting that no one person can be held accountable for the killing. We should all take lessons from the tragedy, be much more cautious going forward, and put policies in place to ensure that it doesn't happen again. Here, we are all to blame. This cannot be attributed to a single individual.

In support of Arjun, Nithiin also wrote on X that rather than focusing on assigning blame, we should concentrate on preventing similar tragedies in the future. Seeing such tragedy is heartbreaking. I think we need to think about ways to stop them from happening again. To guarantee a safer and better tomorrow, we must learn, develop, and accept shared responsibility rather than focusing on assigning blame.

"How can one man be held responsible for an extremely unfortunate crowd event gone wrong, especially in a country that thrives on its population & celebratory gatherings?" Sundeep Kishan asked. Rather than assigning blame, we should learn from this and make sure it doesn't happen again. Allu Arjun Anna, I love you.

What took place
Rashmika, his wife, Allu Sneha Reddy, and Arjun went to the Sandhya Theatre on December 4th to see Pushpa 2: The Rule debut. Hundreds of admirers flocked to the theater for his visit, causing a stampede-like scene that grew out of control. A mother died as a result, and her kid was admitted to the hospital. Since then, the police have arrested Arjun and the theater's management and filed a formal complaint against them. Following a 14-day judicial remand by the Nampally Court, Arjun was granted 4-week interim bail by the Telangana High Court on Friday.
