Arjun was taken into custody by the Chikkadapally Police on December 13 and detained overnight at Chanchalaguda Central Jail. The following day, he was let out of the jail.

The director used X, the former name for Twitter, to vAllu Arjun, his wife Sneha Reddy, and his co-star Rashmika Mandanna from Pushpa 2 went to the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4.
