Filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane criticized Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule on social media in an attempt to vent his annoyance.

Although Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, is making waves at the box office, director Vikramaditya Motwane is not pleased with the movie's theatrical distribution. In contrast to the Golden Globe-nominated picture All We Imagine As Light, he has voiced his dissatisfaction and unhappiness with the movie's screenings. Distressed Vikramaditya Motwane
After congratulating director Payal Kapadia on receiving two nominations for the Golden Globes 2025, Vikramaditya took to Instagram Stories to share his thoughts.

He expressed his displeasure that her movie isn't shown on the big screen while movies like Pushpa 2 are still showing several times a day. To highlight his points, he posted a screenshot of several Pushpa 2 screenings.

“And yet, Payal’s incredible success will mean f**k all to us because we will throw her film out, not let it breathe or find an audience, and will have 36 shows a day of one film in a single multiplex,” Vikramaditya wrote, sharing the screenshot. Well done. This is something we deserve.

The film's crew has not yet responded to Vikramaditya's jab.

Concerning Pushpa 2
The follow-up to the 2021 pan-India success Pushpa: The Rise is Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule. In the Sukumar-directed movie, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Fassil, and Allu Arjun reprise their roles as the anti-hero's title character. The movie came out on December 5. At the box office, Pushpa 2: The Rule has now made over 590 crores. By Tuesday, it is anticipated that the movie will have earned over 600 crore.

In the movie, Arjun plays Pushpa Raj again, this time as the head of a Red Sanders smuggling ring. In addition to being married to Rashmika's character Srivalli, he remains embroiled in an arrogant conflict with Fahadh's character, police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekawat. The movie concludes by setting up the story for Pushpa 3: The Rampage.
