Presenting the revised Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125 for 2025: streamlined design, improved technology, and more

With a Euro 5+ engine and design cues from larger models, the 2025 Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125 have been revealed. Beginning in early 2025, the bikes will be offered throughout Europe and will have new colors and cutting-edge safety features.

According to HT Auto, Italian motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia has unveiled their updated 2025 lineup of 125cc sports bikes, which includes the RS 125 and Tuono 125.

According to the article, the new models have a redesigned engine that satisfies strict Euro 5+ emission regulations and aesthetic improvements, strengthening their place in the cutthroat lightweight sports bike market.

Vibrant New Colors and Designs
According to reports, the larger siblings, the RS 660 and Tuono 660, serve as design inspiration for the 2025 RS 125 and Tuono 125. The unique triple front light arrangement with integrated indicators is a feature shared by both variants. The bikes' sporting charm is given a contemporary touch by the all-LED lighting system and revised color palettes.

The RS 125 comes in two eye-catching colors: Cyanide Yellow and Kingsnake White. In the meantime, the semi-faired Tuono 125 makes its premiere in elegant Mamba Grey and vivid Viper Yellow.

Engine Compliant with Euro 5+
The upgraded powertrain is the main change for 2025. According to the article, the 124.2 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine that powers both bikes now meets Euro 5+ pollution standards. The engine produces 14.7 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm when paired with a six-speed transmission. For riders looking for improved performance, a quickshifter is an optional feature.

Unaltered Hardware and Chassis
The RS 125 and Tuono 125 are still the only 125 cc sports bikes with an aluminum frame, staying true to their Italian roots. The suspension system consists of a rear monoshock with an asymmetrical swingarm and 40 mm upside-down forks up front. The motorcycles include a 300 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc for braking, and they are mounted on lightweight alloy wheels that are 17 inches in diameter.

Technologically Advanced Features
For increased safety during emergency braking, both models now have dual-channel Bosch ABS with an anti-rollover feature and traction control. Comprehensive information is provided by an eight-inch digital instrument cluster, and an optional USB charging outlet is available.

Early in 2025, the 2025 Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125 will be offered for sale in European markets. But as of right now, there are no plans to launch them in India. Prices have not yet been revealed.
