PM Modi's Visit to Kuwait: "We Are Not Just Strong Trade, Energy Partners..."

Two weeks after the overthrow of President Bashar al-Assad's government in Syria and the ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza, Prime Minister Modi is visiting Kuwait.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated Saturday that India and the Gulf state share a common interest in the peace, security, and stability of the West Asian area as he began a two-day visit to Kuwait.

Two weeks after the overthrow of President Bashar al-Assad's government in Syria and the ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza, Prime Minister Modi is visiting Kuwait.

PM Modi stated in a farewell message that he will use his discussions with the top Kuwaiti officials to lay out a plan for a future collaboration between India and Kuwait.

"The long-standing relationship with Kuwait that has been fostered over the years is something we much cherish. We have a common interest in peace, security, stability, and prosperity in the West Asian region, in addition to being close trading and energy partners," he stated.

PM Modi expressed his excitement for his upcoming talks with Kuwait's prime minister, the Crown Prince, and the Emir.

"It would be an opportunity to chalk out a roadmap for a futuristic partnership for the benefit of our people and the region," said he.

"I eagerly look forward to meeting the Indian diaspora in Kuwait who have immensely contributed to strengthening of bonds of friendship between the two nations," he said.
