Live Maharashtra chief minister oath ceremony: On Thursday at 5:30 p.m., Devendra Fadnavis of the Bharatiya Janata Party will take the oath of office as Maharashtra's chief minister for the third time in Mumbai's Azad Maidan. Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, two deputy chief ministers from Shiv Sena and NCP allies, are anticipated to join Devendra Fadnavis in his new cabinet.

Under the Mahayuti government, Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar were deputy chief ministers to departing chief minister Eknath Shinde.

Eknath Shinde's position in Devendra Fadnavis's new government is still up in the air. According to sources, Eknath Shinde was furious over not being selected for the top position, thus he left the chief ministerial choice to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

Shiv Sena leaders, who credited their leader with giving the Mahayuti alliance a resounding victory in the assembly election, persisted in calling for Eknath Shinde to be appointed as chief minister prior to Shinde's decision.

On Wednesday, Shinde requested that everyone hold off until the evening when asked if he would take the oath. "We will learn about Shinde by the evening, but I will take it (the oath); I will not wait," Ajit Pawar interrupted.

Shinde grinned at the answer. He chuckled as he stated, "Dada (Ajit Pawar) has experience taking [oath] both in the morning and evening." He made reference to Fadnavis and Pawar taking an early morning oath in 2019 as chief minister and deputy chief minister of a government that will fall five days later.

The ceremony is anticipated to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a number of BJP chief ministers, and supporters from Mahayuti allies such as the NCP, BJP, and Shiv Sena.

For more than 40,000 persons, special arrangements have been provided by the Mumbai police. To guarantee their comfort and safety, about 2,000 VVIPs—including prominent members of several religious communities and political leaders—will be assigned distinct seating arrangements. To provide security, almost 3,500 police officers—520 of whom are officers—have been sent in.

To make sure that everyone attending had a hassle-free time, police also issued advisories and traffic restrictions. The order will go into effect at 12 p.m. and last until the end of the event. Because there aren't any parking spaces at the location, authorities have urged people to take public transportation, especially trains and local services.

Sena leader describes how MLAs persuaded Shinde to join the cabinet during the live Maharashtra chief minister's swearing ceremony.

According to departing Industry Minister Uday Samant, if Eknath Shinde does not join the government, no MLA will accept a ministership or other job. On Thursday, he was speaking at a press conference.

According to Samant, the departing Sena ministers told Shinde that if the caretaker chief minister did not become the new deputy chief minister in the next administration, they would not accept ministerships.

He declared that the party would use the bow and arrow emblem in concert to win the Corporation Zilla Parishad and Nagar panchayat elections.

Live Maharashtra chief minister oath ceremony: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP hopes Mahayuti fulfills its promises

Priyanka Chaturvedi, an MP for the Shiv Sena (UBT), expressed hope that the incoming Mahayuti government would fulfill all of its promises to the Maharashtra populace.

The administration took more than ten days to choose the CM's face. "I hope the people of Maharashtra do not suffer because of the many differences among the three," Chaturvedi stated.

The BJP's approach has been to betray its political partners, including the Shiv Sena and the Shiromani Akali Dal. She claimed that the BJP uses and throws according to their convenience.
