Kangana Ranaut claims that during Bigg Boss 18 House, she displayed her "dictatorship": "Nee Bade Naatak Kiye Logon"

Following several postponements, Kangana declared that Emergency would now be released on January 17, 2025.

In order to promote her upcoming political drama Emergency, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut recently stopped by the Bigg Boss 18 sets. The actress was also seen interacting with photographers outside the show's residence in Mumbai's Film City.

Kangana was seen chatting with photographers on her way to her vanity van in a social media video that went viral. "Emergency task hua ki nahi?" was the question posed. "Bade naatak kiye in logon ne," joked Kangana. Machaaye bade utpaat." "Maine andar jaa kar dictatorship dikhaayi hai," she continued, smiling.

Kangana's attire for the promotional event emphasized a retro aesthetic. She accessorized her hair in a high ponytail and wore a golden co-ord set with a nod to the past.

Kangana has previously appeared on Bigg Boss. She promoted her movie Tejas by appearing as a celebrity guest on Bigg Boss 17 during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode last year. Fans were thrilled when she danced with host Salman Khan and imitated his famous stage presence.

Kangana will play the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the biopic Emergency. The film explores one of the most contentious eras in Indian history and is her second directing endeavor after Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has approved the movie after the creators promised to make three cuts and provide reliable sources to support contentious historical claims.

Following several postponements, Kangana declared that Emergency would now be released on January 17, 2025. "17th January 2025 – The epic saga of the nation's most powerful woman and the moment that altered India's destiny," she wrote when she shared the news on Instagram. "#Emergency: Only in theaters!"

The film, which promises to be an incisive depiction of a pivotal period in India's history and is brought to life by Kangana's strong acting and direction, is widely anticipated by fans.
