Last week, the market capitalization of six of the ten most valued companies increased by around ₹86,848 crore. According to PTI, HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries are two of the biggest winners.

New Delhi, Dec. 29 (PTI) — In keeping with an overall upward trend in stocks, six of the top ten most valuable companies collectively saw a ₹86,847.88 crore increase in market valuation last week, with HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries emerging as the largest gainers.

The Nifty increased 225.9 points, or 0.95 percent, last week, while the BSE benchmark increased 657.48 points, or 0.84 percent.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, State Bank of India, and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) saw a decline in their market value, while Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, ITC, and Hindustan Unilever emerged victorious.

To reach ₹13,74,945.30 crore, HDFC Bank's market capitalization (mcap) increased by ₹20,235.95 crore.

Reliance Industries' valuation increased to ₹16,52,235.07 crore with the addition of ₹20,230.9 crore.

ICICI Bank's valuation increased from 15,254.01 crore to 9,22,703.05 crore, while ITC's increased from 17,933.49 crore to 5,99,185.81 crore.

Hindustan Unilever's market value increased from ₹1,245.29 crore to ₹5,49,863.10 crore, while Bharti Airtel's jumped from ₹11,948.24 crore to ₹9,10,735.22 crore.

State Bank of India's value, however, fell by ₹11,557.39 crore to ₹7,13,567.99 crore.

Infosys's value fell by ₹2,283.75 crore to ₹7,95,803.15 crore, while LIC's fell by ₹8,412.24 crore to ₹5,61,406.80 crore.

TCS lost ₹36.18 crore in market value to ₹15,08,000.79 crore.

The most valuable domestic company was still Reliance Industries, which was followed by Hindustan Unilever, TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, Infosys, State Bank of India, ITC, and LIC.
