According to industry reports, the sequel is on track to generate Rs 1,000 crore before completing its first week in theaters. The Hindi version of Pushpa 2 is becoming a colossal success, attracting record crowds.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared on his X account that Pushpa 2 has achieved over Rs 800 crore in global box office receipts during its opening weekend. This extraordinary achievement marks a significant milestone for Pushpa 2, even as it received mixed reviews from critics.
The Hindi adaptation of Pushpa 2 is showing far better performance compared to the original Telugu version, making it the first Hindi film to gross more than Rs 80 crore nett in India on December 8. According to the tracking site Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 amassed Rs 141.5 crore nett in India on December 8, with the Hindi version earning Rs 85 crore nett and the Telugu version bringing in Rs 44 crore nett. In Tamil Nadu, Pushpa 2 recorded nett earnings of Rs 9.5 crore on Sunday.
The Malayalam and Kannada versions earned Rs 1.9 crore and Rs 1.1 crore nett in India on December 8, respectively. The overall four-day tally for Pushpa 2 stands at Rs 529.45 crore nett, with the Hindi version making a significant contribution. In total, the Hindi version accumulated Rs 285.7 crore nett over four days.
