The cutting-edge Hyperloop train is already being prepared for a test run on India's first 410-kilometer Hyperloop route by Indian Railways. A video of India's first Hyperloop track was recently published by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who declared that the track was prepared for testing.Imagine traveling to your destination more quickly by rail than by commercial airplane! Doesn't that sound like science fiction? This sci-fi fantasy could soon come true, though, as Indian Railways is already preparing for a test run of the state-of-the-art Hyperloop train, which will travel on the country's first 410-kilometer Hyperloop track.
A video of India's first Hyperloop track was recently posted by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who declared that the 410-kilometer track was prepared for testing. He posted a video of the 410-meter test track along with the caption, "Bharat's first Hyperloop test track completed."
A Hyperloop train: what is it?
High-speed passenger and freight transit is provided by a Hyperloop train. With the use of magnetic technology, a hyperloop train travels on a pod that has an elevated, transparent tube inside of which a bogie can travel quickly. Although the Indian Railways Hyperloop system will only be able to go 600 km/h, the tube's frictionless motion allows it to achieve speeds of up to 1200 km/h.
The Hyperloop train takes 25 minutes to go from Mumbai to Pune.
The Hyperloop's unparalleled speed will reduce travel times by orders of magnitude, allowing cities to be connected in minutes rather than hours. The Hyperloop is predicted to be able to travel between Pune and Mumbai, Maharashtra, in under twenty-five minutes, surpassing the speed of bullet trains.
The first Hyperloop train is reportedly scheduled to operate between Mumbai and Pune, with an initial operating speed of 360 km/h. The Hyperloop will travel the distance between the two cities in about 25 minutes, which is far faster than even flying. Conventional trains take about 3–4 hours to get there.
Ticket for the Hyperloop train
It is anticipated that tickets for Hyperloop trains will eventually cost as much as or more than airfare, despite the fact that they will eventually be faster than flying.
However, since the Hyperloop track provides the enjoyment of a continuous journey, the experience will be more seamless than flying. The Hyperloop won't make any stops before arriving at its destination. In a single run, a single pod can carry roughly 24 to 28 people.
Elon Musk first proposed the idea of the Hyperloop in 2013, when he discussed the construction of a system that would allow passengers to travel from Los Angeles to San Francisco in extremely short amounts of time.
