BluSmart has opened "invite-only" exclusive registrations and plans to launch an EV taxi service in Mumbai.

On Saturday, December 28, BluSmart announced that invite-only registrations are now open for exclusive access to its planned operations in Mumbai.

In a post on the social media site X on Saturday, December 28, the Gurugram-based electric vehicle (EV) taxi service operator BluSmart revealed its intentions to launch operations in the city of Mumbai.

The taxi service operator on platform X declared, "Mumbai, we're coming soon—only for a few to experience it before everyone else."

The business has also stated that, as the brand will begin operations in Mumbai on January 1, 2025, the services will first be accessible to a select group of people.

BluSmart is here to make your travels dependable, secure, and punctual as of January 1, 2025. We're thrilled to realize this idea in your city after months of commitment and effort," the business wrote in its platform X post.

The business also revealed an invite-only program experience that will give customers the opportunity to be one of the first few to take advantage of the "premium rides" that the app offers.

"What's so unique about this? The event is invite-only. We want you to be one of the select few who get to experience our premium rides before they become available to everyone else, BluSmart stated in its article.

According to the company, in order to participate in the "invite-only" ride access, users must complete a form that requests information such as their name, phone number, and email address. Once this form is submitted, the user will be able to access the service before it is made available to others.

Concerning BluSmart
In 2019, the electric vehicle-only taxi service BluSmart was established. Over 7,600 EV taxis are part of the company's fleet, and it has performed over 21 million journeys.

Additionally, the business has its own network of charging stations, known as BluSmart Charge, which is dispersed throughout Bengaluru and Delhi NCR and has served more than 1.80 million riders to date.

At the moment, the company solely works in Bengaluru and Delhi NCR. Unlike other market players like Uber and Ola, BluSmart has an asset-heavy business model. It owns every vehicle in its fleet and pays its drivers a monthly salary.
