Australian newspaper "Virat I Am Your Father" mocks Kohli by using a photo of Sam Konstas; online users respond

Since the Sam Konstas incident on Day 1 of the fourth India vs. Australia Test at MCG, Virat Kohli has been the focus of Australian media attention.

The Australian media once targeted the previous Indian captain with a headline that read, "Virat I Am Your Father," during the current fourth Test match between the two countries at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, two days after the Virat Kohli-Sam Konstas incident.

When the 19-year-old Konstas was doing his gloves in the middle of overs on the first day of the MCG Test, Kohli shoulder-barged at him. However, the International Cricket Council (ICC) fined Kohli 20% of his match costs and gave him one demerit point, which the Indian accepted.

However, it appears like the Australian media is unable to stop talking about Kohli. The 'Sunday Times' tabloid's backpage headline rekindled the controversy at a time when it seemed to have been resolved.

The title "Virat I Am Your Father" was created by the tabloid using a full-page photo of Konstas. Additionally, the description now reads, "Young star who rattled down Kohli and his Indians primed to get Aussies back on track."

However, a peach of a delivery from Jasprit Bumrah on Sunday swept over Konstas, who a few days ago made a fifty in his first Test innings in international cricket. Meanwhile, the Australian media has made fun of Kohli before.

Western Australia called Kohli "clown" a few days ago.

Internet users criticize Australian media
The way the Australian newspaper treated Kohli was not well received by online users. One person remarked, "Australian media is a disgrace. Sports journalism has reached a new low."

"This is printed in a newspaper? Although sledging and banter have their limits, this title is completely out of style. FEEL A BIT SHAME! Someone else wrote.

"You people are going too far. By these antics, you are not only demeaning Kohli but also inciting hatred in a 19-year-old," a user wrote.
