He had previously been granted temporary bail by the Telangana High Court, but his release was halted by procedural problems and the superintendent's departure for the day.

A Hyderabad municipal court placed Allu Arjun under 14 days of judicial prison after his arrest on Friday. Revathi's husband, Bhaskar, has stated that he is prepared to drop the case in the interim. He said in his statement that he did not blame Allu Arjun for his wife's death in the stampede. "I'm prepared to drop the case. "Allu Arjun had nothing to do with the stampede where my wife died, and I was unaware of the arrest," he stated.
