Allu Arjun has been granted interim bail by the High Court in connection with a case involving the death of a fan related to his film "Pushpa 2: The Rule." The court emphasized the actor's fundamental rights to life and liberty, implying that he should not face undue legal repercussions in this matter.

In the Pushpa 2 stampede case, actor Allu Arjun was granted temporary bail by the Telangana High Court.

The Telangana High Court handed Allu Arjun comfort on Friday night after granting the actor temporary release in relation to the death of a fan during the movie's launch. Earlier in the day, Hyderabad Police had taken the actor into custody from his residence.

After his arrest, the actor petitioned the High Court once more to have the FIR against him dismissed. According to the Telangana High Court, Allu Arjun will be granted temporary bail. Bar and Bench cited the judge as saying, "We will grant interim bail for certain period, and let them avail themselves of appropriate remedies in the meantime."

The event happened on the evening of December 4, when a sizable number of admirers flocked to Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre to catch a glimpse of the actor at the Pushpa 2: The Rule launch. A woman died after a situation akin to a stampede occurred. Her son is receiving treatment in a hospital and is doing well.

On the basis of the deceased's family's complaint, police said that a case was filed against the actor, his security detail, and the theater management at the Chikkadpally police station under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Arjun pleaded before the High Court on Wednesday to have the FIR quashed and asked that all additional actions, including an arrest, be halted until the appeal was resolved.

The actor had previously promised the deceased woman's family ₹25 lakh in financial support. When the victim's husband announced that he would drop the complaint because he did not hold the actor accountable, the case took a turn in the afternoon.
